I won't be buying it, either. Arc Systems is terrible when it comes to re-releasing the same game over and over again with minor improvements (how many versions of Guilty Gear X are there again?).
But the jump from SF4 to SSF4 was significant. AE and AE 2012, not so much.
This article is a joke.
Why do people demand that systems are backwards-compatible nowadays? That is a perk, not a requirement. If you want to play your old PSP games, keep your PSP.
Hilarious
The Wiimote is great for aiming, but not necessarily great for shooters. Precision is worlds better with analog sticks, not to mention firing (and everything else) is more natural with strategically-placed shoulder buttons--something the Wiimote lacks.
As for your list of games, I haven't played many of them, but Metroit: Other M suffered from it's motion controls--it didn't benefit from them. If that's what you consider an improvement I have to doubt you...
You can't make an article about a game's improvements when nothing by the logo has been revealed. You just can't.
A love-maker you are not. You are a sex-maker, a pornographer. Stop trying to be something you're not.
Doctor Octopus would have been amazing. But I guess we'll have to settle for Rocket Raccoon. (sigh)
This again?
Yeah, there was one thing there that was definitely a spoiler, but an easily forgiveable one.
I feel the same way (about "simy" racers) and so I appreciate your comment on two levels. Don't have either game, BTW. Just a casual observer.
Right..."as much of the game as possible" (your words) and not "all of the game". Even in my first comment I said "extensively". Just because you didn't see the last boss in a long RPG doesn't mean you can't review it.
Because all of a game's core mechanics can be experienced well before the end. I know this from experience.
For one thing, they can not take 6 years to make a sequel.
Absolutely not. Play it extensively and offer a fair review. There is nothing phenomenal in that 40th hour of gameplay that will significantly alter your opinion.
"Choose from dozens of Gems that modify characters’ abilities and stats."
I have to see this to fully understand what they mean. Finding it hard to believe that Capcom would implement a system that would alter the properties of your character (speed, hitboxes, lost/gained moves, etc.). If it's something like a lighting effect or spark color I can understand that, but no one wants a system that alters the game so that it can't be used in online and competit...
Sonic 4 had great level design but bad physics, and that ruined it for me. Go to speeddemosarchive.com and download the speed run, or check out some YouTube vidz.
The title of this article alone is slanted. Why should I expect objectivity?
It's a necessary evil. You'll hate grabs until you play a game that doesn't have 'em (Killer Instinct--yeah, I go way back) and then you'll understand. Turtlers/defensive player make grabbing a necessity.
This article needs to be edited. Badly.
